Blue KPMC-14-B by Kolortek is a mixture of potassium nitrate (50-55%), silica (18-23%), sodium nitrate (10-15%) and azobenzene(butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane )(7-22%). It is a special effect photochromic pigment. It react to changes in light levels, it is so quick-changing that it will completely change from its pale color to a deep beautiful rich color within 1 second of being exposed to direct sunlight. It is a great color change product for those who live in any climate, as it only need sunlight to change. Blue KPMC-14-B will not fade in UV light, as it is dependent on UV for activation. Used in plastics.
