Haftolat P

Haftolat P by Kettlitz Chemie is an EPM solution. Provides very good results in the production of sulphur master batches where it acts as dispersing agent for the sulphur. It functions as internal lubricants and give excellent results even at small dosage. Shows excellent results, especially in rubber compounds with high shore hardness intended to be cured in injection moulding systems or having generally difficult rubber compound flow. Can lower the mixing temperature of compounds and prevent heat build up which is very important for chloroprene compounds. The compound flow of overstored or slightly scorched rubber compounds based on chloroprene can be improved. Can reduce the mixing temperature up to 15 °C. Haftolat P is neutral and does not have any influence on curing with either sulphur or peroxides. Rubber-metal-curings are also not affected by it. Injection times will be reduced especially of high volume rubber parts. The compatibility with all rubber types, with the exception of silicone rubber is good. In EPDM compounds it is not possible to identify it by IR spectroscopy.
