Stearic acid of barium. It acts as a heat stabilizer and lubricant. In case of PVC stabilizer and lubricant, it has a best long-term heat resistance in comparison to all the alkaline metal stearate. In presence of air it leads to water imbibition and also does not cause sulfide pollution. It appears as a white powder. It is mainly used for soft transparent film, thin leather, artificial leather and hard board, pipe, etc. Also can be used as high temperature resistant softening agent and machinery with high-temperature lubricant.
