IP1171 by Ingenia is a non-PFAS polymer processing aid (PPA) masterbatch in LLDPE carrier resin. It is used to eliminate melt fracture, lower back pressure, improve throughput and processing in polyolefin formulations. It reduces die lip build-up while maintaining high clarity, impact strength, coefficient of friction and sealant properties, with minimal impact on film haze.
- It is suitable for LDPE, LLDPE & HDPE blown & cast film, extrusion coating/laminating, sheet extrusion and molding applications.
- It uses a non-fluorinated process aid and is not formulated with any per- or polyfluoroalkyl substances (Non-PFAS).
- It provides exceptional PPA performance without environmental and toxicological concerns.
- IP1171 has broad regulatory approval for use in food packaging films and is highly efficient in removing sharkskin melt fracture.
- The recommended dosage level is 1-2.5%.
