INBIO® ITZ-486 by Ingenia is a biodegradable, toughening polymeric masterbatch. It is a pellet formulation containing a proprietary mixture of additives. It improves the tear, impact and tensile properties of PLA films. It is suitable for use in PLA and other compostable polyester film applications. It ensures the high clarity of PLA films to be maintained. It is used in blown- and cast-films. It is free from animal-based ingredients, dispersion aids, waxes or stearates. INBIO® ITZ-486 complies with CONEG and Title 21 of the US FDA.
