TIMREX® PC 40-OC

TIMREX® PC 40-OC by Imerys is a petroleum coke-based filler. It has low friction, is chemically inert and shows the absence of inherent abrasiveness. It exhibits high thermal conductivity, thermal stability and electrical conductivity. It has film-forming ability on metal surfaces and has a relatively inoffensive nature of both powders and products of combustion. It is calcined at high temperatures with low sulfur concentration, low content of oversized particles, high apparent density and high chemical stability against most chemical substances. It improves wear resistance, deformation strength and reduces thermal expansion in PTFE. TIMREX® PC 40-OC is suitable for polymer composites such as self-lubricating polymers & thermoplastics.
