Nyglos® 20

Nyglos® 20 by Imerys is high-purity, high aspect ratio, coarse wollastonite. It can act as a FR synergist in polymer composites. It is recommended for thermoplastics and thermosets. Nyglos® 20 offers good reinforcing properties, compressive strength, thermal stability, reduced CLTE and dimensional stability. This product can be surface treated to further improve mechanical performance and coupling to the polymer matrix. In addition, surface treated grades can improve weld line and tensile strength.
