Esacure 1001 M by IGM Resins is a difunctional Type II photoinitiator. It belongs to ketosulphone class.
  • It is used to initiate radical polymerization of unsaturated oligomers such as acrylates after UV exposure.
  • It is suitable for LED cure, through and surface cure.
  • Due to its molecular structure, it is particularly suitable for all systems where low migration and low extraction values are needed.
  • It is used in food packaging applications.
  • The recommended addition level is between 2 and 5% by weight and it depends on system composition, thickness, and desired cure-speed.
  • Esacure 1001 M has a shelf life of 24 months.
