Hymod® SB432 ST1 by Huber Engineered Materials acts as a flame retardant. It is a water-insoluble alumina trihydrate grade (99.6% content). It is a medium particle size, surface treated product that provides rapid dispersion, flame retardancy and smoke suppression. Present as white colored odorless powder that is chemically stable under normal conditions. Allows for high loading levels in polymers with excellent dispersion and provides favorable compounding and processing characteristics. Complies with Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Inventory, Canada Domestic Substance List, Canada Non-Domestic Substance List and National Inventory of Chemical Substances (INSQ). Hymod® SB432 ST1 is incompatible with strong acids.
