Hymod® M1500 SPD by Huber Engineered Materials is an alumina trihydrate (aluminum hydroxide) grade (99.6% content). Acts as a flame retardant. It is a fine particle size, surface treated product that provides functional reinforcement and smoke suppression. Present as water-insoluble, odorless white powder. Suitable for acrylic, EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer), EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate), SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber), polyester and polyolefin compounds. Hymod® M1500 SPD complies with Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Inventory, Canada Domestic Substance List, Canada Non-Domestic Substance List and National Inventory of Chemical Substances (INSQ).
