HeBoFill® 541

Boron nitride. It is a highly crystalline, high-purity single crystal grade with low surface area. Acts as an electrical insulator and heat conductor. Also acts as a solid lubricant that improves rheological properties of the polymer system, while providing outstanding wear resistance. It is chemically inert, has low density, low coefficient of friction, and shows excellent machinability. It offers high thermal cycling resistance, resistance to most acids and melts, and a very high oxidation resistance. Recommended for use as active filler for rubber, resins, & plastics and as mold release agent for injection molding of plastics. It is also recommended for polymer plain bearings and other friction elements, where it significantly improves their durability and reliability. It is especially suited for thin film or sheet applications.
