GC OLPET® P 5050 by Greenchemicals is a linear hydroxylated, 100% recycled, aromatic polyester polyol with high hydroxyl number. It is obtained by the depolymerization of recycled PET. It has high concentration of recycled PET. The use of recycled PET in place of virgin resin typically results in lower cost, reduced energy consumption and environmental impact.
- It is also used as plasticizer and base for numerous reactive flame retardants.
- It can be used in combination with isocyanates as raw material in resins and polyurethanes rigid foam.
- GC OLPET® P 5050 can be used alone or mixed with other polyols.
