GC OLPET® NP 5050 by Greenchemicals is a hydroxylated, 50% recycled, aromatic polyester polyol with high hydroxyl number. It is obtained by the depolymerization of recycled PET. It is also used as plasticizer and base for numerous reactive flame retardants. It has high concentration of recycled PET.
- It can be used in combination with isocyanates as raw material in resins and polyurethanes rigid foam.
- The use of recycled PET in place of virgin resin typically results in lower cost, reduced energy consumption and environmental impact.
- GC OLPET® NP 5050 can be used alone or mixed with other polyols.
