Moonshine® Ultra Grey Sparkle by Glassflake is a special effect interference pigment containing calcium sodium borosilicate (84-96 wt%), tin oxide (0-1 wt%), titanium/titanium dioxide (2-3 wt%) and titanium dioxide (2-12 wt%). It is used in polymers. It is based on thin borosilicate glass flake which has an average thickness of 1.2 microns and is coated with high refractive index metal oxides and colorants. It may be used in industrial applications up to 180°C. Moonshine® Ultra Grey Sparkle offers transparency, strong color combined with interference effect. It is listed on TSCA, EINECS/ELINCS, DSL, AICS, ENCS, KIEC, ECL, IECSC, NZloc, TCSI, PICCS, Switzerland and CIRS inventories.
