Moonshine® Astral® Blue Shimmer by Glassflake is a special effect interference pigment containing calcium sodium borosilicate (53-64 wt%), tin oxide (0-1 wt%) and titanium dioxide (36-46 wt%). It is based on thin borosilicate glass flake which has an average thickness of 350nm and is coated with high refractive index metal oxides. Moonshine® Astral® Blue Shimmer offers astral effect, strong interference color, high transparency and extraordinary gloss. It is used in polymers. It is listed on TSCA, EINECS/ELINCS, DSL, AICS, ENCS, KIEC, ECL, IECSC, NZloc, TCSI, PICCS, Switzerland and CIRS inventories.
