Condensation product of naphthalene sulfonic acids. Acts as a dispersing agent. It disperses into finely divided solids and droplets of liquids or gases in aqueous environments. It stabilizes latex emulsions, minimizes build-up inside reactors and acts as a secondary emulsifier for lower surfactant dosage. Used in emulsion polymer compounding to prevent creaming and settling from the continuous emulsion phase.
