Bisomer® PEA 6

Bisomer® PEA 6 by GEO Specialty Chemicals is polyethyleneglycol monoacrylate. Is a monomer for special polymers. It is water soluble and offers a novel route for the production of traditional and water based UV curable urethane acrylate oligomers. As an alternative to HEA and HPA, it is non-toxic, easy to handle and listed as a polymer in the EINECS classification. It is also an excellent, low shrinkage reactive diluent for UV systems based on urethane acrylates and vinyl esters (epoxy acrylates). Has a low glass transition temperature (Tg) and offers excellent plasticizing properties when incorporated into polymers, including emulsion polymers. Bisomer® PEA 6 is ideal in the preparation of UV oligomers, emulsion polymers and particularly in non-ionic polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) for ease of dispersion.
