Bisomer® MPEG 550 MA

Bisomer® MPEG 550 MA by GEO Specialty Chemicals is methoxy polyehthyleneglycol methacrylate. Is a long chain methacrylate monoester based on an ethylene oxide backbone. It is water soluble and contains approximately 8 ethylene oxide (EO) units in the chain. It is an excellent material to impart water solubility or water dispersibility into non-ionic organic molecules. Bisomer® MPEG 550 MA is also an excellent flexibilizing molecule due to its low glass transition temperature (Tg). It is an ideal in alkyd dispersions, polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) and hydrogels.
