Opacity Pigment™ FP-550

Opacity Pigment™ FP-550 by FP-Pigments acts as an opacifier. It can easily be incorporated in polyolefin masterbatches using normal premix and extrusion operations. It is suitable for plastics and end applications including blown films and injection molding. The unique engineered structure improves the efficiency of existing titanium dioxide pigments and enhances their performance, allowing the formulator to optimize the product performance and reduce raw material costs.

• It is designed to provide optimal optical properties enabling partial replacement of TiO₂ depending upon the dilution and film thickness of the end use product.
• The recommended replacement level is between 10-15%.
• It maintains opacity & film quality and provides high brightness & low yellowness.
• Its lower tinting strength provides advantage in colored plastics where chroma and hue can be maintained at lower colored pigment addition levels.
• Opacity Pigment™ FP-550 is fully REACH compliant and approved from FDA & JHOSPA ([B]NJ-36699).
