Crystex™ HS OT 10 by Flexsys is a non-blooming vulcanizing agent for unsaturated elastomers. It retards bin scorch, prevents migration of sulfur and preserves surface tack. At vulcanization temperatures, it de-polymerizes to soluble sulfur and behaves similarly to "Rubber Maker's" sulfur.
- It is used in compounds containing a relatively large sulfur loading above the solubility of sulfur in the elastomer.
- It offers thermal stability, non-staining and non-discoloring properties.
- Reversion of this grade to soluble sulfur is also catalyzed by alkaline products.
- Crystex™ HS OT 10 is used in tires and other plied-up rubber goods.
