Nubix V-9

Nubix V-9 by Ferro is an ultramarine violet pigment with a unique bluish shade. It exhibits high tinting strength, high dispersibility, narrow colorimetric tolerance, low moisture and low free sulfur content. It is semi-transparent to visible light and transparent to NIR ("cool" pigment), but its cool performance is highly dependent on the substrate and formulation. It offers excellent dimensional stability, no warping and shrinkage. It has the ability to recycle black parts with NIR-based sorting systems, creating economic value and reduced waste disposal. Nubix V-9 offers excellent heat-, light-, weather, alkali-, and solvent- fastness. It shows low acid fastness and compatibility with cement. It is suitable for a broad range of polymers e.g. polyolefins, PS, ABS, engineering polymers (including very high processing temperature resins), silicones, PVC and rubber.
