Nubix V-40

Nubix V-40 by Ferro is an ultramarine violet pigment with a unique reddish shade that is very clean and bright. It exhibits high tinting strength. It has the ability to make whites. It is semi-transparent to visible light and transparent to NIR ("cool" pigment), but its cool performance is highly dependent on the substrate and formulation. It offers ease of dispersion, excellent dimensional stability, no warping or shrinkage. It possesses high dispersibility, narrow colorimetric tolerance, low moisture and low free sulfur content. Nubix V-40 provides excellent heat-, light-, weather, alkali-, and solvent- fastness. It shows low acid fastness. It is suitable for a broad range of polymers e.g. polyolefins, PS, ABS, engineering polymers (including very high processing temperature resins), silicones, PVC, and rubber
