Cool Colors® 22-5500

Cool Colors® 22-5500 by Ferro is chrome antimony spinel pigment with a turquoise blue shade. It offers opaque to visible light with moderate NIR reflectance ("cool pigment"). Exhibits ease of dispersion, excellent dimensional stability, no warping and shrinkage. It has the ability to recycle black parts with NIR-based sorting systems, creating economic value and reduced waste disposal. Cool Colors® 22-5500 provides excellent heat-, light-, weather, acid-, alkali-, and solvent- fastness. It is suitable for a broad range of polymers e.g. polyolefins, PS, ABS, engineering polymers (including very high processing temperature resins), silicones, and rubber. It is also used in PVC applications including siding and window profiles. Other applications are plastic roof tiles, upholstery single-ply roofing systems and automotive such as dashboards, steering wheels.
