Cool Colors® 22-5096

Cool Colors® 22-5096 by Ferro is cobalt chromite spinel pigment with a turquoise blue shade. It exhibits high tinting strength. It offers UV-transparency, opaque to visible light with moderate NIR reflectance ("cool pigment"). Exhibits ease of dispersion, excellent dimensional stability, no warping and shrinkage. It has the ability to recycle black parts with NIR-based sorting systems, creating economic value and reduced waste disposal. It shows excellent heat-, light-, weather, acid-, alkali-, and solvent- fastness. It is suitable for a broad range of polymers e.g. polyolefins, PS, ABS, engineering polymers (including very high processing temperature resins), silicones, and rubber. Used in PVC applications such as siding and window profiles. Other applications of Cool Colors® 22-5096 include plastic roof tiles, single-ply roofing, and automotive such as dashboards, steering wheels, and upholstery.
