Vistamaxx™ 6202 by ExxonMobil Chemical is a cling agent. It is propylene-based elastomer (PBE). It possesses good elasticity, toughness, chemical resistance, long term aging, very low seal initiation temperature and high seal strength. It enables potentially lower costs, easy drop-in at lower dosage, superior cling performance, excellent mechanical properties, outstanding optical properties, and improved recyclability. Vistamaxx™ 6202 can reduce energy use through lower temperature processing. It offers excellent adhesion to conventional or metallocene PP and PE. It is suitable for a wide range of cast film, compounding, calendered or extruded sheet/profiles, injection-molded goods, PP/TPE modification, and packaging applications. It is recommended for thermoplastic and polyolefinic blends where a balance of flexibility, transparency and impact performance is required.
