Vistamaxx™ 6102 by ExxonMobil Chemical is a cling agent. It is propylene-based elastomer (PBE). It possesses good elasticity, toughness, melt strength, chemical resistance, long term aging, very low seal initiation temperature, and high seal strength. It enables potentially lower costs, easy drop-in at lower dosage, superior cling performance, excellent mechanical properties, outstanding optical properties, and improved recyclability. It can reduce energy use through lower temperature processing. It offers excellent adhesion to conventional or metallocene PP and PE. It is suitable for a wide range of blown- & cast film, compounding, calendered or extruded profiles, foamed- or blown molded goods, PP/TPE modification, and packaging applications. Vistamaxx™ 6102 is recommended for thermoplastic and polyolefinic blends where a balance of flexibility, transparency and impact performance is required.
