Vistamaxx™ 3980FL by ExxonMobil Chemical is a cling agent. It is propylene-based elastomer (PBE). It possesses very low seal initiation temperature, high seal strength, good chemical resistance and optical properties. It reduces stress-whitening and improves impact properties. It enables potentially lower costs, easy drop-in at lower dosage, superior cling performance, excellent mechanical properties and improved recyclability. Vistamaxx™ 3980FL can reduce energy use through lower temperature processing. It offers excellent adhesion to conventional or metallocene PP and PE. It is suitable for a wide range of cast- & blown film, molding, polymer modification, compounding and packaging applications. It may be used in food contact applications.
