Escorez™ 5400 by ExxonMobil Chemical is a tackifier. It is very light colored cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon resin. It is used in a variety of polymers including metallocene polyolefins, styrene isoprene styrene (SIS) block copolymer, styrene ethylene butadiene styrene block copolymer (SEBS), amorphous polypropylene (APP), amorphous polyalphaolefins (APAO), natural rubber, synthetic polyisoprene, polyisobutylene, butyl rubber and ethyl vinyl acetate (EVA).
