Escorez™ 2173 by ExxonMobil Chemical is a narrow molecular weight, tackifier. It is an aromatic modified aliphatic hydrocarbon resin. It provides low viscosity and forms highly flexible plasticized blends with good adhesion properties (to difficult substrates). It has an optimum composition structure and narrow molecular weight. It shows excellent compatibility with ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymers, natural rubber, most synthetic rubbers and styrene butadiene (SBS) elastomers.
