Ethyl (p-ethoxy) benzoate. Acts as a catalyst. It is used as inside electron donor in conjunction with a solid particulate catalyst precursor triethylaluminium as co catalyst and as outside electron donor. Primary purpose of it in the catalyst system is to function as the selectivity control agent. It is a high purity product with extremely low levels of impurities and moisture. Used in the production of polypropylene.
