ULTRASIL® 4000 GR

ULTRASIL® 4000 GR by Evonik is a synthetically produced amorphous silicon dioxide-based reinforcing filler. It is highly dispersible with low surface area. It offers excellent hysteresis performance and high reinforcement. It provides lower compound viscosities at equal and particularly high loadings. Furthermore, lower dynamic stiffness at low ambient temperatures and improved rolling resistance are achieved for tire tread compounds. Higher silica loadings improve wet traction properties and allows to optimize winter properties. ULTRASIL® 4000 GR is suitable for use in tires and mechanical rubber goods. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
