EVERNOX® 2246 by Everspring Chemical is a 2,2'-methylenebis(4-methyl-6-tert-butylphenol) grade. It acts as a primary phenolic antioxidant for manufacturing, processing and long-term thermal stability. It helps retarding the crazing effect caused by exposure to light. It exhibits low volatility and migration. EVERNOX® 2246 shows compatibility with natural rubbers, synthetic rubbers, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene and polyacetal systems. The recommended dosage level is 0.1%wt. It is insoluble in water.
