LUXAN K221 by Eckart is a free-flowing pearlescent pigment with luster effect interference gold. It is based on platelets of glass flakes. It creates greater optical transparency than is possible with conventional pearlescent pigments. It offers color intensity owing to homogeneous surfaces and intensive glitter effect. It is used in plastics and food packaging. LUXAN K221 has a shelf life of 120 months.
