LUXAN K001 by Eckart is a free-flowing pearlescent pigment with luster effect interference silver. It comprises platelets of glass flakes. It creates greater optical transparency than is possible with conventional pearlescent pigments. It offers chemical resistance, color intensity owing to homogeneous surfaces and intensive glitter effect. It is used in plastics and food packaging. LUXAN K001 has a shelf life of 120 months.
