LUXAN C001 by Eckart is a non-leafing, free-flowing pearlescent pigment with interference silver effect. It is based on platelets of glass flakes coated with titanium dioxide and small amounts of tin oxide. It provides greater optical transparency than possible with conventional pearlescent pigments. It offers chemical resistance, color intensity owing to its very homogeneous surfaces and glitter effect. It is suitable for plastics. LUXAN C001 has a shelf life of 120 months.
