LUXAN B522 by Eckart is a non-leafing, free-flowing pearlescent pigment with copper reflection color. It comprises of platelets of glass flakes
coated with iron oxides. It creates much greater optical transparency than is possible with conventional pearlescent pigment. It provides a brilliant and strong color intensity owing to homogeneous surfaces and intensive glitter effect. LUXAN B522 finds application in plastics. It has a shelf life of 120 months.
