XIAMETER™ OFS-6020 Silane

XIAMETER™ OFS-6020 Silane distributed by DKSH is made from diaminofunctional silane, and functions as a coupling agent. Silane possesses both organic and inorganic reactivity. It can react with organic polymers and glass or other inorganic mineral surfaces.

• Silane offers the benefits to improve adhesion and increase wet and dry tensile-, flexural- & compressive strength and improves compatibility between inorganic filler and organic polymer.
• Silane is recommended to use in clay-reinforced elastomers such as natural and nitrile rubber, mineral-reinforced nylon 6, nylon 6/6 and polybutylene terephthalate, fibre glass finish or as resinous additive and thermoset resins.
