TYZOR® TPT-20B by Dorf Ketal is mixture of organic alkoxy titanates. Is an organometallic catalyst. It is low in toxicity, eliminates by-products and increases yields. It is easy to work with and can be used at low concentrations. It is an effective lewis acid catalyst in processes such as esterification, transesterification, condensation- and addition reactions as well as ziegler-natta catalysts for polymerizations. TYZOR® TPT-20B is typical reaction products include (meth)acrylic esters, polyester, plasticizers, various esters and polyurethanes. It can also be used to create polymeric TiO2 films on surfaces via pyrolytic or hydrolytic (e.g. sol-gel) processes.
