Desmophen® 1159 S by Covestro is an inactive tri-functional polyether modified with a styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN) polymer. It exhibits a broad processing range and allows the use of most commercially available silicone surfactant and tertiary amine catalysts. Desmophen® 1159 S is designed for the production of conventional flexible slab-stock foams with enhanced load-bearing properties, using CO2-technologies due to its appropriate particle size distribution. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
