Hostavin® B-CAP™ by Clariant is benzylidene-bis-malonate type UV absorber. It strongly absorbs in the high energy part of the UV spectrum (short wavelength). It is colorless and is suitable for polyesters as well as for highly transparent PC.
- The absorption maximum for Hostavin® B-CAP™ is at 320 nm with the molar extinction coefficient more than 37000 l/mol.cm.
- It can be equally used also in PVC and styrenics.
- Minimum shelf life of the product is 1 year.
