Exolit® OP 1314 by Clariant is a halogen-free, intumescent, organic phosphinate. Acts as a flame retardant. Exhibits higher thermal stability, good colorability and good processability. Designed for glass fiber reinforced and unreinforced PA6 and PA66. Possesses very good physical and electrical properties. Offers a heat-insulating effect, reduces oxygen access and prevents dripping of the molten polymer. Exolit® OP 1314 provides good contrast in laser marking and low material density. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
