Exolit® AP 760 by Clariant is a UV stabilized ammonium polyphosphate. Acts as a halogen-free, flame retardant. Possesses good electrical and mechanical properties. Exhibits improved thermal stability, good recyclability and high processing stability. Offers low smoke density and corrosion. Compatible with PP copolymers and blends. Can be processed by injection molding, compounding and extrusion. Exolit® AP 760 shows reduced water uptake, less contamination of the water bath and less soapiness of the polymer strength. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
