Acticell® U

Acticell® U by CelChem is surface treated urea used as an accelerator and activator for foaming agents. It is non-dusting and disperses easily. Lowers the decomposition temperature of Celogen® AZ, Celogen®OT and DNPT foaming agents, which allows for energy savings. At the same temperature, the use of Acticell® U enhances productivity in NR, SBR, butyl, EPDM (Royalene®) and Neoprene rubber formulations. Recommended dosage is 50% of the dose of Celogen® AZ or DNPT in cellular NR, SBR, NBR and CR products. Cellular EPDM compounds should use Acticell at one by four the foaming agent dose. In butyl and XLPE, a dose equal to the foaming agent is suggested. It has a shelf life of approximately 6 months.
