Priplast™ 3238 by Cargill is an amorphous polyester polyol. It is a versatile building block and is designed for bio-based polyurethane systems such as polyurethane dispersions and elastomers. It provides no strain hardening, excellent color, enhanced durability, hydrolytic, thermo-oxidative and UV stability. Exhibits extreme hydrophobicity for excellent sealant and protective properties. It also brings good wetting properties, adhesion to various substrates, including low polarity plastics and prevents cracking. Priplast™ 3238 is applicable in engineering plastics.
