Optislip™ ORX by Cargill is a non-vegetable origin, primary unsaturated amide-based high slip and anti-blocking agent for polyolefins. It offers quick migration properties, mold-, & torque release and scuff resistance.
- It shows improved stability compared to Crodamide™ OR.
- It disperses evenly through the polymer in the melt phase and migrates to the surface where it forms a thin lubricating layer that reduces the coefficient of friction between surfaces and reduces unwanted adhesion.
- Optislip™ ORX is designed for PVC, EVA, nylon and TPE applications.
- Recommended addition level is 500-2000 ppm for films and 0.2-1.0% for molding applications.
- It has a shelf life of 180 days.
