Optislip™ BR

Optislip™ BR by Cargill is a vegetable derived, bio-based, saturated primary amide-based slip and anti-block additive that performs well at high temperatures. It offers torque release, thermal- and oxidative stability.

• It allows the use of less inorganic anti-blocking additives such as talc, silica and therefore maintains film clarity.
• It disperses evenly through the polymer in the melt phase and migrates to the surface where it forms a thin lubricating layer that reduces the coefficient of friction between surfaces and reduces unwanted adhesion.
• Optislip™ BR is suitable for polyolefins, biopolymers, film production, caps and closures.
• The recommended dosage levels are 500-2000 ppm in films and 0.2-1.0% in molding applications.
• It has a shelf life of 365 days.
