Incroslip™ C (Bead) by Cargill is a vegetable origin, slip additive with exceptional stability, low odor and taste profile. It is used in polyolefins, EVA, PVC and injection molding applications. It is suitable for high organoleptic stability applications where torque release is needed such as caps and closures for carbonated soft drinks applications. It offers scratch resistance and mold release.
- It disperses evenly through the polymer in the melt phase.
- It migrates to the surface of the polymer where it forms a thin lubricating layer, reducing the coefficient of friction between surfaces and prevents any unwanted adhesion.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.2% for film and 0.2-0.5% for cap applications.
- Incroslip™ C (Bead) has a shelf life of 1 year.
