B-Tough™ A2 by Cargill is an epoxy functional, reactive toughening agent. It offers impact strength to structural resins without impacting the hardness of the matrix. It enhances durability by absorbing microcracks caused by aging and thermal shock. It protects substrates from moisture diffusivity, thus extending lifetime of substrate. It provides excellent stability and improved adhesion after humid aging. B-Tough™ A2 is designed for composites and liquid and/or solid type epoxy resins (low polarity grade). The recommended dosage level of the elastomer phase is 5-25%.
