Atmer™ 163 by Cargill acts as an anti-fouling agent. It modifies catalyst activity, resulting in better particle size control, lubricates the product and the reactor walls, and reduces static charge build up. It can be used to decompose alkyl aluminum compounds in waste streams and to neutralize acidic catalyst residues. It offers low odor, low volatility & low viscosity, excellent stability as well as good solubility in mineral oil & hydrocarbon solvents. It remains pumpable down to -5°C. It eliminates fouling of the reactor, ensuring consistent production and minimizing shutdowns due to blockages. Atmer™ 163 is suitable for all Ziegler-Natta and related olefin polymerization processes including polyethylene (LLDPE, HDPE), polypropylene (PP) homo and copolymers (random & heterophasic). It has a shelf life of 730 days.
