Atmer™ 1006

Supplied byCargill- Last Updated on Mar 15, 2026

Atmer™ 1006 by Cargill is a vegetable-based, anti-fogging additive. It migrates to the surface of the polymer where it helps to lower the surface tension of the water. It is suitable for PE and EVA food wraps.
  • It is designed to prevent hot and cold fog formation in polyolefin films.
  • It helps condensed water droplets spread into a thin, uniform transparent layer on the film surface.
  • It maintains film transparency and supports consistent light transmission through packaging films.
  • It improves visual appearance and visibility of packaged food by preventing internal fog build-up.
  • It provides reduced water dripping and minimizes plant damage caused by condensation.
  • It is suitable for polyethylene mono-layer films used in food packaging applications.
  • Atmer™ 1006 offers compatibility with multiple polymers and different film processing requirements.
  • The recommended use level is 0.2-1.5%.
